Images have the power to change the world. License or share an image from this special collection and help bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. Starting on World Water Day, March 22, 2018, when an image from this collection is licensed and the watermark is removed, 10% of the proceeds will go towards charity: water to help fund water projects.

  • 4 million hours are lost each day due to water collection by children in sub-Saharan Africa

Photographers are highlighting the clean water issue by shooting images that directly address the issues surrounding clean drinking water as well as unexpected images that display how water impacts our lives. Their images are paired with a fact that demonstrates the impact of water around the globe.


In addition to showcasing the photographers’ images online, a selection of images will also be displayed at an art gallery where the prints will be for sale. The event takes place on World Water Day, March 22, 2018, at 45 Lispenard, New York, NY.

To get involved in the clean water cause, you can license or share an image from our Watermarks for Water collection where 10% of the proceeds from licensing will go towards charity: water. You can also donate directly to charity: water where 100% of your donation helps fund water projects.
